Dow Terneuzen receives honorary medal from the Municipality of Terneuzen: a milestone of 60 years of collaboration

Terneuzen, the Netherlands – September 25, 2025 – Today, the municipal executive of the Municipality of Terneuzen awarded an honorary medal to Dow Terneuzen in recognition of the company’s 60th anniversary in the region. The distinction was presented during an official ceremony by Mayor Erik van Merrienboer to the employees of Dow in Terneuzen.

“We are incredibly proud of this special recognition for 60 years of Dow in Terneuzen,” said Jaume Sariol, Site Director Terneuzen & Vice President Operations EMEAI. “This milestone is not only a reflection of our commitment, but above all of the power of collaboration. I especially want to thank our employees who dedicate themselves every day to progress, innovation, and safe production. Thanks to them, our partners, customers, and the community we operate in, we have made a lasting contribution to our environment. This recognition belongs to all of us. We also want to thank the Municipality of Terneuzen for their trust and collaboration over the years.”

Since 1965, Dow has been active in Terneuzen and, as one of the largest employers, has contributed to the economic and social development of the municipality. With this honorary medal, the municipality expresses its appreciation for the dedication and involvement of Dow and its employees over six decades of collaboration.
